Handmade rune casting mat featuring the Elder Futhark, designed for rune casting, divination, altar work, and spiritual practice. This mat provides a defined, protective surface for casting runes while helping keep throws contained. Made with soft yet durable fabric, this mat protects your runes, altar, and tabletop without being stiff or slippery. It lays flat, folds easily, and travels well for readings on the go or quiet moments at home. Each mat is hand sewn one at a time in my home studio and made to be used, not just admired. It’s a favorite for rune readers, Norse mythology lovers, and anyone who enjoys intentional tools with a little soul stitched in.

Travel ritual mat Design The Elder Futhark rune circle represents the full runic alphabet, paired with Celtic knot detailing for continuity and flow. In Norse mythology, the stag is a symbol of vital force, endurance, and the life energy that flows through all worlds. Most famously, the great stag Eikthyrnir stands atop Valhalla, where water drips from his antlers to feed the rivers that sustain the Nine Worlds. The stag represents strength rooted in stillness, renewal through cycles, and the quiet power that supports life beneath the surface.
Care Spot clean only. Do not machine wash or dry, low iron.
